The Todd Bridges Youth Foundation has made such a difference in the
lives of the youth that participated in its programs. Not only youth that
participated in the youth programs, but youth outside of the Compton
community who are not directly involved in the youth center's activities
and programs. Programs like the Todd Bridges youth foundation need
to
be applauded for helping inner-city youth realize their dreams of success
in education, sports, entertainment and life long careers.
in the fields of medicine, law and the sciences.
The following photos are a tribute to our sponsors, our volunteers, and
our
youth. With hard work, caring councilors and the blessing of the Lord
Jesus
Christ, we have been able to make a difference.

This is the first trip of the Todd Bridges Youth Center sponsored by
the HOST-MARRIOTT Corporation, a division of the Marriott Hotel
chain. Pictured to the right is the former regional manager of the LAX
Host Marriott corporation, Mr. Ed Wilcox. He was instrumental in helping
the center obtain support from the Marriott corporation. Todd Bridges
was also on hand to support the youth.

The Todd Bridges Youth Foundation afforded these inner-city youth
to take the tour, the Universal Studios Tour, that is. I must say that the
young brother (third from the right), Benczeon Jones, was killed in 1999.
Lord help, us to help our youth live meaningful, better quality lives.

Elder Johnson accepts airline tickets from Jim
Kawishima, General manager of America West
airlines. The airline, along with Host Marriott,
sponsored fourteen youth to attend the NAACP
National ACT-SO awards. All expenses were paid
for hotels, food, and transportation while in Chicago,
Illinois.

(Scholarship winner), Jim Kawashima (GM, America West Airlines),
Charlie Hines (GM - L.A. Marriott Hotels), Tramell Turner (Act-so
contestant Video/Filmmaking.) Tramell won that year and brought
home the silver medal (second place).

The youth of the Todd Bridges youth foundation turned back to say
thank you for your support. The youth put on the shirt and ties and
and joined the regional executives of the Marriott Corporation for
lunch. They each gave a report of how they benefited from their
field trips and their trip to the Chicago, Ill. national NAACP ACT-SO
competitions. We give special thanks to the entire staff of the Marriott
Corporation. God bless you all.

Youth get to dress up and attend a high school beautillion at
the Boneventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. They also enjoyed
a great and tasty dinner. (l-r) Raymond Franklin, Jamaal, and Virnell

The family of Mr. Robert Black Harper (second from the left) enjoy a
great evening at the Altruist Society Beautillion scholarship at the
Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Robert was sponsored by
the Todd Bridges Youth Foundation and the JITA Church. He received
a scholarship towards his college education. Robert ended up becoming
a navy seal and is doing very well.

The Youth and volunteers of the Todd Bridges Youth foundation are
taught to give back by helping to run a food distribution program
in the community of Compton, CA. The youth would give help
distribute over 1000 pounds of food per month in the communities
which they serve.

The youth, now adults, were taught to be leaders in sports, education
and community. These youth not only learn competitive sports,
they learn team work in order to win.
Thank God for the efforts of the Todd Bridges Youth Foundation for we
are making a difference. If only one young person is saved we've done
our job, but I know that God has used us to touch more than that.
