Elder Ernest Johnson, was born October 22, 1963, to Casina Dixon

the foster care of his second, non-biological mom, Mary Ann Douglas,
of Compton, CA.

One night, at the age of three years old, lil Ernie was awaken
out of his
sleep by flickering lights in the kitchen that was directly down the hallway
from his foster mother's bedroom, where he was asleep in her bed. When
he was awaken by the flickering lights he noticed three creatures looking at
him. These were demonds. They said to him, "We're going to destroy
you!!"
He quickly, out of fear, went back to sleep in hopes that these creatures
wouldn't hurt him.
A few days later, pondering this vision in his mind, lil Ernie was looking
out
the kitchen window, at the family home on Hatchaway St. in Compton, CA.
watching his lil cousin Anthony take his first steps. Suddenly, he saw a flash
of lightning come out of the west and form the sign of the cross. A perfectly
formed cross that put him in a trance for over 5 minuets. The cross in the sky
gave him peace of mind regarding what he had seen a few nights prior.

Elder Ernest Johnson
4th Grade Age 9
St. Philip Neri Catholic School
September 1973
He attended Marion Anderson Elementary for kindergarten. He then attended Colin
P. Kelley Elementary School, in Compton for the first grade.
then attended Roosevelt Elementary school, also in Compton, for the third grade.
He then transferred to St. Philip Neri School, fourth thru eight grade. He
was
drawn to the school because of a nun named Sis. Laura Tanner, who taught a
summer catechism religion class that he had attended in the summer of '73. The
first day that he attended the school it seemed as though he became the target
of every kid in the school for a fight. But it was here in this school that he
began to learn about the God that had appeared to him in that lightning. Sis.
Laura Tanna didn't teach Catholicism, but just the straight bible in chalk board
picture form. She taught bible history and this interest changed his life.
In the seventh grade, after building such a compels from the fights, lil Ernie
decided to do something to make people like him. A little girl at the school
that was on a KING VITAMIN commercial, inspired him to create a new identity and
life, base totally on fantasy. He then started renting limousines, buying
all of his friends whatever they wanted, at his mother's expense of course, and
creating a father out of producer, Kenneth Johnson (Six Million dollar man, bionic
woman). Strangely enough, the kids bought the story, and he was in like
flyn.
Creating the story for his friends
approval worked in one way but killed him in another. The school staff
began to think that he had mental problems because here he was coming to school
in limos, yet his school tuition was exactly on year behind. He was slated to
attend St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, CA. But because of the
recommendation from Ms. Hibdon, he was denied enrollment.
In the summer of 1978, lil Ernie took his first summer job at
Willow brook Jr High
school in Compton, CA. This was his first brush with public school since 3rd
grade. The students heard of the rumors about his family being rich and famous
and fell in love with him the first day. So he went to Willowbrook Jr.
High School.
Willowbrook Jr. high school was a
turning point in Ernie's life. He gained such a burden to help people find
there way. He saw kids having babies, kids getting killed, kids smoking pot,
kids fighting like crazy and so many other things that it became a culture
shock, yet a life changing experience. It was during this school year that his
eyes would be open to the outcome of sin in the lives of his people in the
inner-cities of Compton. He gained a burden to make a difference and to
help his peers find their way. How could he do this and he was as lost as tow
left shoes?
When the end of his year at
Willowbrook Jr. High was coming to an end, Ernie got tired of lying about being
rich and famous, so he decided to do something about it. He headed for
Hollywood to go to school, acting school and fame and riches. He attended Colin
McEwen High School, a parochial school for the kids of the rich and
famous. It was there that he began to meet lots of rich kids. He felt so inadequate
because of his lack. Nevertheless, he graduated top of the class.
In June of 1979, while on the way
home from school, Ernie was telling all of his friends how he was going to be
rich one day. Another, young man turned and said, "Maybe God doesn't want
you to have all of that. He may want you to have the riches of the kingdom of
God. Then later that day when Ernie's mom took him to the doughnut shop
where he saw the young man, Jimmy Dunson, once again. So he started going to
Bible study. Soon after Ernie began to attend Bible study often, until
they wanted him to leave his mom at 14 years old and move to the projects
(Nickerson Gardens - South Central Los Angeles, CA.). Ernie wasn't about
the leave his nice room that had everything he needed.
Ernie became confused about
religion, but he wanted to be saved. He met a wonderful lady named Sis. Janice
Burnam. She was there whenever he had questions about the Bible. Soon after
that, Ernie went to the church, called Wilderness Table Apostolic Mission.
Before the preacher could even finish his text lil Ernie raised his hand to be
saved. He was ready even before the sermon was done to be saved. This was
a Wednesday night, and that Friday evening, he was baptized in Jesus Name and received
the Holy Ghost three months later, on July 16, 1979. He had finally found,
or was reached by the kings of kings and the Lord of Lords, JESUS CHRIST!!
Ernie returned to the occult Bible
study speaking in tongues and the leader deemed him an outcast. He told his
followers that I was the devil and to stay away from me. Nevertheless, after
being in a service where all those young people where brought to tears through Ernie's'
testimony and new found fire of the Holy Ghost. He kept praying for all his
young hommies until the Lord disbanded that group and they all got saved..
In June of 1981, Ernest graduated from high school. Muhammad
Ali and his wife were in attendance. Ernest spoke with such authority that Muhammad
Ali grabbed him on the way down and said, "You Gone Be some
preacher!!" Ernest never forgot those words, until this day.
That following September, when
Ernest was about to enter college, a great change hit him head on. His mother,
Mary R. Douglas, suddenly died at the family home. What was Ernest to do
now? Not what his brothers, Robert, Nathan, Alonzo or Willie, Jr.
did. He would follow JESUS. He packed two shirts and two pair of pants,
and left not knowing where he was going. His pastor, Elder Albert Burnam,
took him in and raised him as his son. He was seventeen.
You can look at the church history and this story picks up from there.
