This page is dedicated to a young man named Nicholas Canody. He is the former
youth pastor of the ministry but is now serving as the Assistant Pastor Of the
Jesus Is The Answer Apostolic Church, Inc.
Bro. Nick, as we all call him, has come from an extensive background in the
entertainment industry. He was a rapper who wrote and performed with the New
York based rap trio, ONYX. He appeared in the title video, "REACT" and
wrote on a lot of their songs. He accompanied ONYX on a 23 state tour
around the United States. Before he went on this tour He was baptized in
Jesus Name but had not yet received the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)
While Nick, also known as Bonifucco, was on this extensive tour, tragedy hit
back at home when his, then girlfriend, Percilla, lost her son who fell out the
window at their apartment building in Los Angeles, CA. Nick was called
back off the road to console and bury his step son. He never returned to the
tour. God stepped in to make some changes in Bro. Nick's life. God dealt
with him not to return to the rap music scene. He cried many nights
wondering if he would ever return to the music scene, but in the mean time, he
started falling in love with Jesus Christ. He took on a regular job, moved
his girl to another apartment in Hollywood and was faced with the struggle of
giving up on God and going back into the world. Nevertheless, he held on.
He and his girl still remained together and they tried to have a child, with no
success. His girl had four miscarriages. When he consulted Pastor Johnson,
Pastor Johnson told him that the Lord would not give him a child out of
wedlock. After hearing the Word of the Lord, Bro. Nick was married and
soon after bless with a little baby girl. He stayed faithful to the church, to
the Lord and to his family. God began to become more and more real to Nick and
His wife.
In May of 2000, Sis. Percilla, his wife, received the baptism of the Holy
Ghost speaking with tongues as the spirit give utterance. A month after, Nick
also received the Holy Ghost, April 30, 2000, an event that would change their
lives forever. Nick's desires for rap diminished and his love for the real
rapping, preaching the Word, increased. God began to deal with him through
visions and dreams. The Word came alive to him and his hunger for more of Jesus
increased. The desire to win souls began to burn in his spirit. One Sunday
morning, Elder Johnson asked him to give a short message before he
preached. MY GOD!!! He was well prepared, anointed and he was able to feed
the lambs and the sheep of JITA Church.
He continues to accompany the outreach team every Saturday on Crenshaw and
Slauson, and encouraging the youth of the JITA Ministries Church.
The following is a pictorial account of a message that Bro. Nick brought to the
church on Sunday, September 19, 2000. He is going places in the ministry
and he and his wife are certainly growing in the Lord Jesus Christ. He has been
bless with a very good job and is very happy being saved. He has been offered
the opportunity to go back into rap. After much prayer and fasting, he, by his
own choice, turned it down for the sake of the Gospel.

It's a Holy Ghost break out! It takes the anointing
to destroy the yokes of bondage in people's lives.
Let's worship the Lord!! Give Glory to His Name. That's what the
saints did during the service where Bro. Nick ministered.
